What happened to Jack
What happened to Jack…
I got an email from Jack yesterday.
He’s just finished my 8 week Beat The Dad
Bod program, and I think it’s fair to say, the
results are pretty impressive.
Here’s what Jack had to say:
“So after a few months – maybe years – of
being lazy and eating whatever I wanted, I
decided it was time to do something about
it.
I’d been getting Alex’s emails for a few
months (which if you’re not getting you
definitely should) and read about his 8
week beat the dad bod programme and decided
to take the plunge and sign up.
Who wouldn’t want to lose a stone of fat
for free!
Along side the three sessions I attended
each week, Alex gave me a few easy rules to
follow with the food, by no means a diet –
which is why I think it’s worked so well.
Anyway 8 weeks later I’m 20lbs lighter,
happier and so much more active and I’ve
still eaten a load of sweets on a couple of
occasions – although I did feel very guilty
!
Hopefully the results speak for themselves
and will see what can achieve in another 8
weeks!”
For me as his coach, alongside watching his
fitness and strength go up, I’ve seen his
confidence in his movement and ability go
up alongside it.
Everyone’s a bit wary when they start
training somewhere new, but after a while
you see things change…
The day that someone shows up with a look
on their face like
“I am gonna smash this fucking workout-
let’s go . . .”
instead of – “I’ve just gotta get through
this session,”
is a good day in my books.
Other stuff that’s shown up in Jack’s life
in the last 8 weeks?
He now leaves all his mates for dead
playing football on a Wednesday evening.
And 2 weeks ago he got a phat promotion at
work.
I’m sure that his improved confidence,
energy levels and mental clarity had
nothing to do with landing that bad boy
whatsoever.
When I asked him what he would say to
anyone considering starting this program?
“Stop considering it, just do it!”
